- NMNot MeMar 7, 20262.0This is the worst Tom Thumb I have been to.. it’s always out of the sale items on the flyer, especially in the meat department. The butchers can’t speak English and just stare at you when you ask them a question.. Like …I asked the head butcher who speaks a little English , yes -no type stuff, not conversational and wanted to have a thicker steak cut that was on sale… all the steaks where cut thin.. he told me they get the steaks already cut??? I said , you don’t cut your own steaks??!!! He said no..so I went to the store manager and asked her if the cut the own steaks… she said she didn’t know and started to call the butcher block manager.. I said you mean the guy in the back that can’t speak English??? She said yes.. I said he’s the one who said you don’t cut your own steaks…She said well he would know… why do you have a pretend butcher in the meat department that doesn’t even produce its own product and try and pretend you do… This place is a Convenience Store at best , avoid if you want anything of quality or freshness at a decent price point.. because it not here…
