Woefully (and I mean WOEFULLY) understaffed, consistently unkempt, and reliably understocked, I can't recall a time when I've shopped at this store and walked out without there being two or three items on my list that they didn't have in stock. Modern problems, for sure, but in light of the fact that they're situated literally across the street from HEB's Central Market, where there are literal armies of employees ready and willing to help out, one might think the Tom Thumb management might take a cue and up their game, just a little bit. Not so much. But, alas, shopping for groceries is, by its nature, a generally depressing undertaking, and since this location happens to be the most convenient option for our needs, I suppose we'll continue to take the bad with the good. Again, modern problems.
