Tried to order a quick lunch and never received my food. Waited for an hour, pressed the button for service (no one answered), and finally had to drive off after paying with no food back to work. The worst!!
To slow understaffed lazy staff just fire everyone and close this location it shouldn’t take over 30 minutes to take a order and to freaking make food I wasted my entire lunch break just waiting for any service .get more people not students get adults who can work faster I’m tired of constantly getting same awful service and slow service no one I know comes here anymore this will be the last time I come here after constantly waiting this long for not many items

Went there on Friday night, waited more than 20min at the drive through waiting for somebody to take order through the microphone. Nobody ever decided to speak to us so we drove to the window. A worker has their back leaning against the window and never decided to turn around and talk to us. After waiting for more than 40min total we left. Thankfully Braum’s was just down the street - never going to this Sonic again

My sister came to visit from Germany, and I drove up from South Texas so we could spend some time in Dallas. While shopping at Ross Dress for Less, we met a homeless man who asked if we could get him some hot dogs from Sonic Drive-In.
I’ll be honest 😭 I was hesitant. I hadn’t had Sonic since around 2016, and back then I remember the burgers and hot dogs being dry. I even suggested we go somewhere else, but my sister wanted to try Sonic since she’d never had it before. So we went to the location he preferred.
And I’m so glad we did.
The team member who helped us was incredibly kind and apologetic (even when there was nothing to apologize for!). They had such a warm, lovely aura and made the whole experience feel welcoming. The food taste like it was made with love!
There was a missing item, the 10ct nuggets but because the server was extremely lovely and kind, we didn’t go back. Yall give him/ they (wanted to respect his/ they pronouns) A RAISE!
The burger and hot dogs completely exceeded my expectations 🫶🏽 juicy, flavorful, and nothing like I remembered. Most importantly, the homeless man was so happy, and that made the moment even better.
Thank you to the kind employee who helped us, to the kitchen staff who clearly put love into the food, and to the man who convinced my sister to try Sonic. You won her heart — and Sonic? You won mine.

Sonic has consistently been THE worst customer experience I've ever had with any fast food franchise, and this Sonic in particular takes the cake as the absolute worst of them. Rude employees, orders that take more than an hour because the employees inside are just clowning around, and machines that are broken or dirtier than a dumpster...
