  I attended the Valentine’s rooftop event at Saint Rocco’s New York Italian for the first time, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, we weren’t greeted or given any direction on where to sit or what to expect. After standing around, someone casually told us to “just find a seat and a waiter will be over.” We waited about 20 minutes with no server coming to our table. I eventually got up and went to the buffet myself because no one had checked on us. Another 15 minutes went by, and I was still trying to flag down a waiter with no luck. I finally had to stop someone while standing in the food line to let them know our table had not been visited at all. The food was horrible. It was cold, dishes repeatedly ran out, and every time I went back to the buffet line, something different was unavailable. I did not receive any fresh food until much later in the evening. I paid $170 for horrible food and extremely poor service, which is completely unacceptable for an event that was supposed to be special. What makes this even more frustrating is that I have requested to be contacted by management three separate times and still have not heard back. The lack of accountability and follow-up speaks volumes. I will not be returning.

  My husband picked this place for Valentine's day and it was AMAZING! Not only was the food good but the service was amazing too. Rico was our server and he never left our drinks empty and always cleared our table of plates. I highly recommend this place!

  What an amazing authentic Italian restaurant! The rooftop has breathtaking views. Amazing food and wine choices.

  I haven't been here since 2017....my recent visit was for a birthday dinner (not mine) and our server was Anaiah. He was great. From the beginning of service to the end. He gave recommendations for dishes to try, and answered all of our questions. As a customer, I appreciated that he'd tasted items on the menu which is a plus for those of us who may want to try multiple entres and are undecided. After presenting him with my options, although he spoke well of the two entres I wanted, I went with the Grilled Chicken Alfredo. The dish was good overall, I just needed a pinch more salt (and I do mean a literal pinch). I ended up getting a slice of Tiramisu to go. My dining experience this time around was much better than the first time I came. One of the guest with our party ordered the Cacio e Pepe, which we enjoyed watching the tableside presentation of.
