  Dephonso was absolutely delightful! You can tell he truly enjoys his job — which is something you don’t see often nowadays. I had a flight to catch, and he made sure I was in and out with plenty of time to spare without ever making me feel rushed. His positive energy and great customer service really stood out. I hope he’s still here when we visit again!

  I always eat Pappadeaux whenever I visit Dallas, Texas. Service was pretty good and so was the food. I appreciate the waiter for honoring my special request for a lunch menu item at dinner. My only complaint was the spinach crab dip had hardly any crab in it, so it wasn't worth the $22 price tag. Also please bring back the king crab legs to the menu.

  We had a great experience at Pappadeaux’s! Our server, Cannon, was wonderful, attentive, polite, and professional. When my initial entrée came out too salty, he and the manager went out of their way to make it right. They quickly replaced the meal, and the second entrée was delicious. Everyone we interacted with was patient, understanding, and the restaurant was very clean. Excellent service all around!

  This location should close! Went after church without reservation was told for party of 6 a 45-1hr wait. We agreed and patiently waited outside. After 1 hour and 4mins we asked for update, they said would be appx 30 more mins. There were empty tables everywhere! I asked if it was a staffing issue they said no. We asked for manager. The manager needs training. He said no tables available that would accommodate 6people, and he couldn’t put tables together for 6 or 5 people. At this point we lost a guest because she had to leave so now we had 5 people. We advised them to remove us from waitlist and we left. As many empty tables they had on a Sunday you would think they would go beyond customer service to accommodate us. If I ever decide to go to any pappadeaux’s I’ll definitely make a reservation but it won’t be at this one. My time wasted ! I counted 9 empty tables and there were plenty of seats available at the bar. Why wouldn’t you at least try to accommodate these customers SMH

  If you hunger for spicy seafood, search no more ! Pappadeaux has been on my top dead food list for almost 30 years. The menu has changed, the prices have gone higher, but quality of the meals and services level have not been compromised. They have a good selection of southern seafood offering that one does not typically see in other parts of the US especially on the north. Crawfish etouffee as an example. Blackened fish combined with dirty rice is also recommended. We always walked out eating there satisfied. Services wise, some locations are better than others and it also depends the servant. Overall it is on the top of the scale. Highly recommended !
