Meridian is truly a standout in the Dallas dining scene. Whether you're looking for an intimate date spot or a refined place to catch up with friends, the ambiance and level of service here are hard to beat.
The Highlights:
-The Experience: We had a fantastic time from start to finish. The General Manager, Steve, went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. He even helped us capture some great photos and personally recommended a beautiful glass of red wine that paired perfectly with our Wagyu.
-The Food: The flavors and presentation are world-class. We explored a variety of dishes, including an appetizer, a side, and two different Wagyu entrees that were incredibly tender. We finished the night with two desserts that were as beautiful as they were delicious.
-The Hospitality: What really set Meridian apart for me was how they handled a minor hiccup. One of our dishes arrived a bit cooler than expected. However, the staff and the Chef handled it with such grace and professionalism that it actually enhanced our confidence in the restaurant. They truly care about the guest experience.
Value: While you can easily spend over $100+ per person here, you absolutely get what you pay for. Between the stunning location, the thoughtful food presentation, and the attentive staff, it is a 5/5 experience.
I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier meal in a beautiful setting!

I took my wife out for our anniversary dinner. Something a little different than our usual Arby's. Made a reservation for 630 on a Saturday night and walked right in. Was greeted immediately and felt welcome from the moment i entered. A gentleman walked us to our seating, bartenders also welcomed us and we were sat in our nook at the end of a long sesting area. It isn't necessarily communal seating, but if you are solo or double, you will probably be seated next to a group. Not a big deal at all, just something to keep in mind. Not sure how the seating outside is.
We had introduction with the restaurant concept and recommendations which was very welcome and helpful. Again, kinda out of our element here. Our waiter introduced himself and also mentioned our anniversary. I love the fact that when we reserved our table it asked if it was a special occasion and that they actually took the information provided and remembered.
My wife was nervous at first. She ordered a dirty martini and we got some time with the menu. Her martini was delicious according to her. She absolutely lived it. Off the recommendations we went with the cornbread and oysters.
When the staff brought our plates we were asked how everything was going and also what we ordered and were pleasantly surprised at how positive they were about our choices. They even offered us some of their favorites as well. Some places you got to the staff looks dumbfounded when you ask what they like. This place had staff that was knowledgeable about their menu and it really showed. Everyone from people refilling the water, to setting the plates and cutlery.
The cornbread was delicious and buttery. Wow. I loved it, but the oysters stole the show. Slightly smokey, and the broth in the shell was so good. Loved it.
Ordered a practical magic and wife got a true passion cocktail. Both were phenomenal. The flavors were very accurate with regards to the menu descriptions. Neither was overly sweet. All the drinks were crafted excellent.
As for the mains: wagyu beef cheek for me and the texas wagyu chefs cut for the wife. Wow. To both. Just delicious.
And for dessert : smores and the banana bun. Whoooo.
So the atmosphere was perfect for us. There is a little buzz but it isn't overly noisy. The music was nice too. Wide array of genres. The restaurant is beautiful and it was almost like watching a well oiled machine at work. Water was always refilled, consistent bussing of plates and new cutlery with each flight, and everything was handled in a prompt fashion. The service never felt overbearing but was also never lacking. It was a great balance. They seemed to anticipate everything we needed.
Here is the thing too, while i was extremely happy, my wife was over the moon. Every time she tasted something, she would put her fork dow, tilt her head to the side and smile. A smile the whole night. "I feel so fancy being here". I guess that is a reflection on me and my arbys dates, but nonetheless, she loved it and is ready to come back.
And the price? Very reasonable. 24 bucks for the wagyu cheek? Pfft, olive garden prices. The drink hover around 15. I've paid more for bigger drinks that didn't deliver a quarter of the quality of these drinks. And the 48 dollar wagyu chefs cut? Damn, well worth every penny. The desserts worth every penny. I left full and satisfied.
Didn't use the valet, but there is plenty of parking in the garage. Just a magical evening overall. If you are on the fence, just go. Try it. Follow the Instagram page and take a look at the food. What you get in the restaurant is exactly the same as what they post. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My husband and I stopped by since we were in the area and the experience was absolutely amazing! From the moment we entered we were greeted and seated. Our server, Robert, was graciously warm and attentive. The entire time we were there he took the time to walk us through the menu and was genuinely kind. The view we had of the kitchen was phenomenal. We loved seeing the movement of the kitchen and the food itself was amazing! We had the steak tartare (amazing) and the ribeye with a side of mushrooms and it was honestly so delicious! We will definitely be revisiting the meridian!!

One of our new favorite restaurants in DFW! Everything was amazing! We were greeted with a complimentary champagne toast at the door and seated immediately (we did have reservations). Jeff, our server, did a great job recommending dishes that complimented each other throughout the experience and was very attentive and easy to talk to. The clams and oysters were some of my favorite I’ve ever tasted. The house bread was to die for!! Don’t skip this because it’s baked freshly every day and it’s absolutely heavenly! My husband still won’t stop raving about the smoked beets in the salad (best beets he’s ever had). The citrus in the ravioli filling was a tad too strong for me but the meat and dough of the ravioli made up for it. The chef’s cut steak was cooked to perfection and practically melted in my mouth (husband and I both think this is now our favorite steak in DFW, even surpassing the 5 star steakhouses like Nick and Sam’s, Bob’s, and Pappas Bros). The espresso martinis were perfect for our dessert because we just couldn’t eat anymore by that point - they were not too sweet and not bitter at all; not sure what their secret is but they are the best I’ve had. When we come back we plan to save room for the S’mores dessert (smelled and looked amazing at the table next to us) and try the burger. I would try everything on their menu - it was hard for me to pick with so many great options!
The ambiance was very romantic and the service was phenomenal!
Definitely try this place out!!! You won’t be disappointed!
