We attended the Polar Bear Brunch with our 3-year-old. While it was a cute experience that our child enjoyed, it felt overpriced for what was offered. We opted for "Premier Seating," which required a $50 deposit—we mistakenly assumed this would be applied toward our meal, but it is actually just a separate fee to guarantee a table next to the polar bears. Because the dining area is quite small, the "premier" view isn't significantly different from the standard seating. The food was hit-or-miss; the pastry basket was a highlight, but $20 for a basic kids' chicken, fries, and juice felt steep. On a positive note, our waitress was wonderful and very attentive.

As a French person, I was very disappointed. I definitely don’t expect to have food exactly like in France, but please don’t call this cassoulet, beans in tomato sauce with 2 pcs of sausage and duck. The filet with peppers was disappointing, don’t expect the creamy peppercorn sauce. The escargots lacked persillade, and we didn’t finish the dessert. I brought my family for Christmas Eve. I would not mind spending $400 for four if the food was worth it, but it wasn’t. Thank you to the staff for being there, but I will definitely not be going back.

If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a Christmas pop-up, a middle school talent show, and a frozen entrée aisle teamed up — congratulations, you’ve found it. We came for the much-hyped polar bear experience, which was cute… for about 30 seconds. After that, it felt less “Parisian winter wonderland” and more ShowBiz Pizza with a cover charge. Pro tip: the seven Michael Bublé songs don’t actually play unless you physically push the button — so don’t worry, you won’t be overwhelmed by ambiance. Now, the food. Cold. Not “delicately cooled” — cold. Drinks took forever, despite a reservation, and we still waited 20 minutes just to be seated. The wine we ordered had the unmistakable aroma of a Coleman blow-up mattress, which was… memorable, but not in the way you want wine to be. By the time everything arrived, enthusiasm had fully left the building. Honestly, if you’re going for: • Long waits • Lukewarm food • Questionable beverages • Seasonal animatronic vibes You could save money and head straight to Chuck E. Cheese. Same energy, similar culinary payoff, and at least there you expect chaos. Cute concept. Execution? Yikes.

We had the most magical date night at Mercat Bistro! Everything we ordered was delicious and when I asked if I could order a French hot chocolate (not on the menu) our incredible waiter Timothy worked with the bartender to make one for me! It was delightful! Service was top notch, we loved Timothy he was so kind and friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful- it felt like we were transported to a Parisian cafe during Christmastime! It was perfect.

I arrived with high expectations after seeing this restaurant featured in the Michelin Guide, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. We were seated on the patio, which unfortunately overlooks a dumpster/loading dock and a parking lot. The ambiance was further marred by the constant, loud noise of a generator. Service was quite slow, and in a major lapse, one guest's entrée in our party of eight was completely forgotten. This led to an awkward situation where the rest of us sat waiting while their meal was prepared. Additionally, having only one restroom for the entire establishment resulted in a constant queue. On the positive side, the appetizers and desserts were truly amazing, we tried almost all of them and were impressed. However, the mains were hit or miss; while the duck confit was delicious, steak frites were disappointingly tough. Given the service and setting, the high price point felt hard to justify.
