Fantastic date night location that we will absolutely go back to. Excellent food with great views of the city while surrounded by very well done decor. Kudos to their designer.
We loved the food overall. The crab cake had some lemon elements added to make it just different enough while still being cooked well. The cavatelli was unique with a generous portion and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Even the bread was great. The Ceasar salad was the only thing really missing a little something extra. But that portion was easily split between 2. Their house drinks are all martini variants but they have a full bar. We ordered off menu and they executed our drink requests well.
Valet is easy but turn right when coming up Pearl. Google has you loop around and come in backwards if you are coming off the DNT.

ISAAC WAS INCREDIBLE! From the moment we got here, Isaac made us fill welcomed and the rest of the staff was so helpful! Loved the crab cakes, eggplant, and pistachio gelato. Oh and the basil of the sun(called something else but Isaac translated it for me) was a delicious drink!

Absolutely amazing at service- SO impressed with the waiters and enviorment and rooftop resteraunt!!! Immediately the vibes were amazing because Javier went out of his way to walk us to the resteraunt! We were then met with outstanding service immediately. I had the crab cake (10/10), and others had the pasta. I will definitely come again since the area is so nicely decorated and cozy.
One of my favorites in Dallas for sure!

Looking back at my photos, I’ve already decided I must return at sunset. I just know the views will be giving “main character energy” over dinner.
Let me start with the bad news, because overall I actually had a great time. First: the pricing. My tiny drink cost more than my entire pizza. Twenty dollars for a drink the size of a toddler’s fist. Meanwhile, my husband’s Old Fashioned was also $20… so either his drink was a steal or mine was a crime. And the pizza? Eighteen bucks. Make it make sense.
Second complaint: the décor. They put booths right up against the windows, blocking the city view like it’s a state secret. If you’re going to have skyline real estate, let the skyline do its job. Kessaku (in the National Building) gets this right.
Now, onto the good stuff. We had a rocky start because the restaurant forgot to assign us a waiter. But Isaac and Josh swooped in like hospitality Avengers and saved the day. The drinks were fine, but the food? The food body‑slammed my expectations. Every dish was layered with flavor like they were trying to win a culinary Jenga tournament.
From the bread with fig vinegar, to the appetizers, to the little surprise bites, to the main course—everything was a hit. The honey and pistachio pizza was salty, sweet, and then suddenly an orange mid‑note came in like a plot twist. And the NY strip? Served with sunflower stalk three ways. I didn’t even know sunflower stalk had one way, let alone three.
It was a full-on edible adventure, and I think I may have found my new favorite restaurant in Dallas. I can’t wait to see what they put on the next menu.
