The District pub is the ninth neighborhood addition to the Harwood District and is an escape from the ordinary by Harwood Hospitality Group.

May be good for beer but many food items are poor and not at all authentic. Website says they do a Sunday roast, they dont and haven't for 6 months but cant be bothered to change the website. Irish potatoes soup was thin and flavorless with no seasoning and no chunk of potatoe or leek. Fish and chips had good fish but the chips were closer to american chips (crisps) and the curry sauce was thin, watery with little curry flavor (see picture).

Best Fish & Chips I've ever had. A proper English or Irish lad must run this place. Great Vibe. Hailey and Aspen both great servers and they love dogs. ❤️. 5 🌟 stars

SMU hangout. No dress code. Poor service / expensive drinks -> No social etiquette required. The low end of the Harwood Restaurant.

Visited for: Christmas pop-up vibes & happy hour (duhhh)
What is Christmas without a Christmas bar pop-up? A friend and I stopped in for happy hour and the holiday vibe did not disappoint. The space feels warm, cozy, and a little magical, like a pub dressed up for the season. Seriously!
They have a surprisingly robust happy hour menu. We stuck to drinks this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked good. Our bartender was friendly and attentive, even though I didn’t catch his name.
Huge perk: parking was incredibly easy, they validate in the attached garage, so no stress there.
The bathroom was CLEAN!
Verdict: great holiday stop, great drinks, cozy vibes, definitely going back, next time for food too.

Mixed feelings: Stopped in on a late Monday night before Christmas. Really neat atmosphere (my kind of place). But, only one server and the place was packed. We almost left but decided to stay and endure the delays. Hayley was absolutely amazing. She kept her composure throughout the evening and was completely accurate with everyone's orders. My beef is with management not having a contingency plan for when they're short-staffed. I'll likely return and try them out again, because the beer, food and atmosphere were all awesome. We sat outside on a beautiful night which made it 'awesomer.' :) Oh, now I remember: the music inside was EXTREMELY loud...you couldn't hear anyone talk. What's the point? Kudos to Hayley for her stellar job in making us want to return again.
