I went there on Thursday 26th, I got in line at 12:45. When it was my turn to get the food the person who was serving me put very little food. She would make sure she measures the food. I kept asking her to add more and she said it would be extra, I said that’s ok because she serving very little for me. I noticed on the other people around me who were not black, they were served a lot of food, they would fill up the bowl for them. Even when they didn’t ask for extra. Honestly, that threw me off. I’m not sure if it’s because of the color of my race or I don’t know what it is. But that made me sad.

My man Javier, best customer experience ive had at a food place in a long time. He was very professional and welcoming with helping me pick my food choices as it was my first time at Cava. Will definitely be coming back. The whole restaurant was super clean and had a very nice atmosphere.

This review was meant to be published on 12/30 but I forgot to hit post: Last time I went to CAVA was in Austin and I had a terrible experience (the food was gross and old and the staff wasn’t friendly), so when my friend wanted to go I was a bit hesistant. We were greeted by Javier at the register who was super super nice right off the bat and was very helpful in helping me decide what to get. Already a better experience than what I have had previously. Not to mention, the food was made fast and fresh and was super yummy. I will definitely have to revisit this location and I’m hopeful to see friendly faces again!
