We recently tried Cava for the first time at NorthPark Mall after passing by it many times, and we’re so glad we finally stopped in. Our experience truly stood out because of our server, Kyce. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel welcome.
When we mentioned it was our first visit, Kyce immediately offered samples and thoughtfully explained the menu and different dishes. He was patient, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever being pushy—allowing us to make our own choices while still guiding us toward a meal we absolutely loved. He exemplified what excellent service should be: professional, courteous, and genuinely kind.
We ordered the chicken with saffron rice, along with a variety of toppings at no extra cost, and the white sweet potatoes—everything was delicious. The flavors were fresh and satisfying, a wonderful blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences. The hummus, which is included, was especially flavorful and added to the overall experience. Healthy, unique, and truly tasty.
Another team member assisted us as well (we unfortunately didn’t catch her name), and she was also friendly and helpful. Thanks to this outstanding service, we will definitely be returning. If more young people approached their work with the same professionalism and positivity as Kyce, the world would indeed be a better place. Highly recommend giving Cava a try—you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Outstanding Healthy Dining Option - Perfect for Dietary Restrictions!
I can’t say enough good things about Cava at the Dallas mall food court! As someone who just moved to the area from New England, I had concerns about finding quality healthy food options, but Cava has completely exceeded my expectations and become my go-to spot.
As someone who follows a strict low FODMAP diet, finding restaurant food that’s both safe and delicious is incredibly challenging, but Cava delivers on every level. The food quality is exceptional - everything tastes fresh, clean, and flavorful. I was particularly impressed by the leafy greens - they were crisp, vibrant, and impeccably fresh, clearly washed and handled with care. The ingredients are obviously high-quality, and I love being able to customize my bowl exactly how I need it. The portions are generous and perfectly balanced to my liking and to my dietary needs, making it easy to stick to my healthy eating goals even when dining out.
What really sets this location apart is the staff. They were incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the ingredients and menu options. When I explained my dietary restrictions, they took the time to help me build a meal that was both safe and delicious. Their understanding and willingness to accommodate made the entire experience stress-free.
If you’re looking for fast-casual Mediterranean food that’s nutritious, customizable, and genuinely tasty, I highly recommend Cava. It’s perfect for anyone seeking gluten-free options, grain bowls, fresh vegetables, lean proteins, or allergen-friendly meals. Whether you’re health-conscious, managing dietary restrictions, or just want a satisfying healthy quick lunch or dinner, this is the place to go.
Can’t wait to come back!
A copy of this review posted at yelp because I am so impressed and happy with the meal I had today
Sorry I didn’t take a photo of how beautiful my bowl looked I was busy enjoying the flavors instead of looking at them 😁

First time at CAVA and the experience was solid. One of the employees (name sounded like Kyrice or Kyle) helped me out and recommended a bowl with half brown rice, half white rice, spicy chicken and chicken shawarma, plus white sauce and hummus. Ended up being exactly what I didn’t know I needed—fresh, balanced, and full of flavor.
He was moving fast, helping multiple people, but still took a moment to guide me through my first visit. Efficient, confident, and knew what to recommend without guessing. He even mentioned grabbing a complimentary pita on the side, which was a nice touch.
I’ll be back.
And I’d recommend this location to anyone trying CAVA for the first time!

I ate at this Cava on December 26th and the line was super long and was moving extremely slow due to the employees moving really slow and looked like they were unorganized… they would stop for several seconds and continue. When I was paying for my food I asked one of the female employees if I could get a pita bread and I thought she was going to give me one they had already in the little brown bag they usually put them in but I saw she went all the way down to the other side of the register to go grab me a pita bread and when she handed it to me it was in a wrapped up in a ball. I thought it was a joke and I asked her “what is this?” She looked at me with a plain face it’s the pita bread and I was shook.. I said umm never in all the times I’ve been to Cava or ordered Cava I’ve gotten my bread all balled up like that. She proceeded to say “oh well that’s how the manager tells us to give it to people. If you want I can go grab the manager for you.” I told her it was okay and that I will not be eating there again! Yeaaa sorry was not trying to be a Karen you guys hahaha but I honestly don’t think it was okay to have handed me a pita bread in a squished up ball….

Food was just okay, a colder version of what you may find at any other location. Service however was painfully slow. I’m talking one small slop of food in a bowl per minute. I was in a line of about 10 people, and was in line for nearly 40 minutes. The cashier (yes the same woman seen in the several photos posted by other reviewers) was very unpleasant and rude. I know it’s not a fun job, i know it’s a loud and busy mall, but id expect bare minimum of kindness. She at one point disappeared while a swath of customers, myself included, were being pushed to check out. The other employees didn’t seem to mind just waiting, instead of pitching in, which was unusual. When she returned, she brought her bad attitude with her, and i finally got my cold, just okay, $14 micro portion of food.
