We ordered the salmon, the curry, and a pasta dish, and every plate felt like its own little victory parade. Our server was incredible at her job, and we absolutely adored her. One thing to note: the drinks were pretty watered down, so just keep that in mind. The soft background music set such a calm vibe, and once after-hours rolled in, the DJ kept the energy in that perfect sweet spot. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place we’d come back to. 🎉

I had the meat sampler and she had the tilapia in a spicy tomato sauce. All cooked in a Sudanese spices and style. You can see that they plate the food nicely as well. Everything was very delicious. 😋 Highly recommend ‼️

Thought I’d bring some out-of-towners to experience a taste of Dallas to celebrate their visit. We all were so disappointed. We ordered a variety of food from the wings, jerked salmon, dip, lamb sliders… the only thing from that list that was good was the wings and dip. Everything came out overcooked and dry. The drinks and the service were just “ok”. What really was the final straw was the DJ. The music was just all over the place. It went from rnb to straight ratchet vibes in a matter of minutes. Lastly the valet in a strip mall parking lot is $20, which is insane! Needless to say… I won’t be back.

- JFJ. FoyNov 2, 20255.0I enjoy Cafe Nubia. We had a reservation and was immediately seated. It was on a Saturday so they had a live band. The waitress was attentive and provided exceptional service. I noticed that they changed the roasted chicken so now its more like a BBQ chicken. I was able to swap it for the pasta dish. I asked the waitress to just bring me her favorite drink which was good. I took a star off the food simply because they changed the chicken recipe. The owner came by to say hello and was warm and personable. I told him I was saddened by the recipe change so prayers that he changes it back one day lol. All in all it's a great, professionally operated restaurant.
