Family-owned and operated, Big Al’s has not compromised on their quality, service, or atmosphere. I found the staff to be very friendly. Some have proudly worked there for over 40 years. The brisket and pork ribs I ordered are among the best I have eaten. The same can also be said of their coleslaw, mac & cheese, BBQ beans, and potato salad. In addition, the Friday Catfish Special is not to be missed. The breading on their fried catfish is amazing and the hushpuppies contain whole kernel corn - a huge plus in my book! Big Al’s Smokehouse BBQ is a wonderful dining experience.
