OVER A GROCERY BAG!!! Had to tell my hubby we had to leave ASAP. He was still shopping. But I had such a horrible encounter with employee Carilyn/Caroline (older black woman with glasses), when I went to get a plastic grocery bag from 1 of the cashier areas. She basically accosted me for taking an unused grocery bag from an off-service grocery bag area without purchasing anything yet. She actually grabbed the unused empty bag from my hand and told me that I could not take a bag without purchase. I asked her if this was Albertson's new policy. Her reply was to agressively ask me--"What are you gonna do with it(the bag)?". I was in shock at being so disrespected and accused as a customer. So I just exclaimed "How suspicious of you!" and went to get my husband. Before I saw him, I saw a young employee (tall black gentleman with a cart & neon green vest) and asked him if I could have a similar plastic grocery bag. He immediately handed me one. No fanfare. No questions asked. He just kindly gave me a bag. Kudos for him! For that older woman employee Carolyn/Caroline though, she seriously needs customer service training for treating Albertson's guests with dignity & respectful professionalism. She seemed to play favorites with customers since she was chatting up with 1 for awhile). She just lost us as customers at this location. And maybe Albertsons for good.

Beware of the bakery. I ordered a birthday cake for a 60th bday celebration. Even confirmed with them on phone. Day of party we showed up to get it and no cake. This was a big bday and I will never use them again for anything so disappointing and just inexcusable.

A great neighborhood supermarket! I was very impressed when the check out clerk went out of her way to show me how the store app works and how to take advantage of their promotions. They are my supermarket!

As always, the store manager is busy working wherever needed and ensuring inventory is available. Unlike many retail stores and food establishments, she's there on weekends. Her efforts make a big difference at Albertson’s.
