  My daughter saw the national media blitz for Wendy's free frosty and fries for March Madness and asked if we could go. Before we headed over, I checked online, read a few news articles about the promo and checked the Wendy's website to confirm it was legit. The website clearly said that there was no purchase necessary, and that the promo was available at all locations in the US for today only. We headed over at 7:55PM, after her tumbling class. When we drove up, the girl working the drive thru window was leaning out of the window scrolling on her phone. I pulled up without ordering and asked if the promo was offered at that location, because the Wendy's said it was available today all locations in the states. She said, "Oh, we ended that at 6." I told her that I had read online and didn't see any time exclusions, only that it was for one day only and the day isn't over. She said her manager instructed them to stop offering the promo at 6. There was nothing posted anywhere to indicate it had ended or wouldn't be offered for the whole day at that location. There were a couple other employees standing right behind her and they all just looked at me with an expression that said they didn't give a damn about customer service. I told them it was really disappointing false advertisement. We didn't need the fries and frosty, but after experiencing such poor customer service, I will definitely never return to that location. Awful!

  Food was terrible — the burger was cold, burnt, and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.

  Rudest and worst service I have ever experienced. If there was a negative score rating system my experience would be rated in the negative and not with one star. On 12/16/2025 I stopped in to have a hamburger for lunch. Ordered and paid for a Dave meal with no cheese, no pickles & no mustard - substitute with mayonnaise. The hamburger had cheese so I took it back and asked for another hamburger. The 2nd hamburger had mustard but was supposed to have mayonnaise. I surmised that the woman making the hamburger did not understand the instructions which was the cause of messing up the order so I suggested she learn English and that's when the trouble started. I was verbally insulted, told to leave, and never come back. A 3rd hamburger was made but I had enough, left without eating it and went somewhere else for lunch. The manager on duty made no effort to calm down the situation, offer an apology, etc. When she did speak the food preparer actually did speak very poor English so I assumed correctly. The rudest person of all was the worker at the cash teller taking the order. She has no customer service skills and should be in the back somewhere and not in the front representing the company. If someone is a racial or religious minority, etc. the the treatment I received raises legal questions....
