  Tried the new CEO burger, it was pink in the middle. Never had a barely cooked McDonald’s burger. Gross.

  I would like to share my experience today at McDonald’s Elyson (Sunday, Dec 7 at around 3 PM). I don’t usually complain, but this situation was too much. About two weeks ago, I placed a curbside order of chicken nuggets (around $25). When my dad picked it up, we realized they didn’t include any sauces, not even BBQ. We had no sauce at home, so the food couldn’t be eaten. I called the store, and the manager I spoke with (Hispanic male, also on duty today) apologized and told me he would issue a $25 credit. Today, I went in to redeem that credit. I spoke to the same manager, and he confirmed he remembered our phone conversation. He stepped away to talk to his staff, then walked to the back. The cashier then told me the manager would only give me a 10-piece nugget. I explained that this was not what we agreed on and asked to speak with the manager again, but he never came back out. The staff member assisting me then said, “Do you want the 10-piece nuggets or no?” At that point, it wasn’t even about the $25 anymore, it was about how poorly the situation was handled. I tried to talk to him for several minutes, but he insisted he could only offer the 10-piece. I stepped aside to call my husband and came back a minute later. A different staff member was at the counter, and when I asked for the previous employee’s name, he refused to give it to me. Another staff member called him over and said, “Let’s go, don’t mind her,” and they both walked away and went into the kitchen, leaving me with no one to speak to. I did hear someone call him “Manuel.” This was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy, and this experience was the complete opposite.
