Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported long wait times and incorrect orders, leading to frustration with the service quality.

The food was good. However…It took entirely too long to get. Long line and about 20 minutes just sitting and waiting. We took the outside Lane. 7:09 PM Sunday 11/16. I felt sorry for the people taking the orders and walking the late food to the cars.

I had a disappointing experience at this Whataburger.
The service was abysmal, with incredibly long wait times and crappy server attitudes. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold and unappetizing. On top of that, my order was missing the ranch and spicy ketchup that noted twice and were listed on my receipt.
Overall, a frustrating and disappointing visit that I won’t be repeating.

It is a young lady by the name of “Peyton Simpson” forgive me if I spelled her name wrong…she works at the whataburger in Fairfield off of 290. Peyton has the best customer service, attitude and personality I’ve ever experienced in my 43 years here on this earth, side note: I go to whataburger’s / restaurant all over this country, and people like Peyton are rare to come by. Not only is she smart, her personality is inspiring and infectious. Whatever her salary is, it should be multiplied by 100. And not only do I see her being a General Manager here in the near future, I also see her OWNING not 1 but many Whataburger’ s. Thank Ms. Peyton for being an incredible young woman.
