  This particular tropical smoothie is a letdown. People are often rude, and the smoothies are not smooth; they are very inconsistent. I’m over the chewy bits of fruit in the smoothie—it's sad. One sip, and I’m hit with a chunk that disrupts the whole vibe. It’s disappointing when you crave that refreshing, creamy texture, only to be met with a mouthful of frustration. I just want a reliable, delicious blend that lives up to the tropical promise!

  I expect to be disappointed in Tropical Smoothie Cafe. That's just the way it is. Our local one (Waco, TX) is pretty bad. However, we were in Cypress visiting family and decided we wanted a smoothie and found this one. I knew something would go wrong. I knew they'd be out of something. What I didn't expect was for them TO BE OUT OF CUPS AND THEREFORE BE UNABLE TO SERVE SMOOTHIES. How is it possible for a smoothie place to run out of cups in which to serve smoothies? Once again, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has lived DOWN to my already very low expectations. If so many locations are run so poorly, how can they stay in business?

  I ordered a chicken quesadilla. The quantity was very small, and the taste was better at Taco Bell.
