- DTDavid Taylor4 days ago1.0I expect to be disappointed in Tropical Smoothie Cafe. That's just the way it is. Our local one (Waco, TX) is pretty bad. However, we were in Cypress visiting family and decided we wanted a smoothie and found this one. I knew something would go wrong. I knew they'd be out of something. What I didn't expect was for them TO BE OUT OF CUPS AND THEREFORE BE UNABLE TO SERVE SMOOTHIES. How is it possible for a smoothie place to run out of cups in which to serve smoothies? Once again, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has lived DOWN to my already very low expectations. If so many locations are run so poorly, how can they stay in business?
