Landry's has been a part of our family dinners for years. The food is delicious and is I appreciate the seasonal menu items. The view is unique, the sunset and Corpus skyline makes for amazing picture opportunities. It is nice when a manager and a member of the kitchen team stop by the table to check on your experience. We will be back soon, hopefully to get the legendary bananas Foster 🍌

Love the vide, food was ok but not worth the money . However service an atmosphere was very nice just a bit of a wait even though it was not busy .

Been eating here for many years, among other locations. This past Saturday was the worst experience I have ever had at a Landry's. The waitress, who was super sweet and friendly, had zero experience waiting tables from what I can tell. She only had 3-4 tables and was struggling to complete basic task. She looked like she was waiting on 20 tables but there were only a few of us and we were all very low stress tables not demanding anything. I think she would be better suited for a hostess position personally. In the past my waiters here been top notch and they should be for this price range. The food was hit and miss around the table but my food was the fish & chips (fried version) and usually the fish is multiple large slabs but this time it was the size of Walmart frozen fish sticks. Anyways, I am super disappointed in this place and not sure I will ever return to this location. On top of this we are very relaxed people and rarely complain unless something is way off. I mean way off. Bummer.

Hid names of servers as I sent official feedback to the staff in an email survey: We made a reservation for 3:45 pm. We were seated with X as our server. X started off cordial, he answered our questions regarding recommendations and such. We ordered at 3:55 pm and long story short- did not receive our food until 4:45 pm. As you can imagine, this wait was frustrating. We overheard at the table next to us a server, Y, offering bread to her party, about 35 minutes into this dreaded wait. We respectfully flagged her down and asked for some, saying we had been waiting forever without any bread, she explained it is usually upon request only but was more than happy to bring us baguettes. Now, this was my first time at Landry’s Seafood House, though I’ve been to several Landry’s restaurants before as a LSC member. But how would I know to request free bread? After 30 minutes of waiting, shouldn't X have just brought us some? I would have as a waiter. But no- we had to ask another server. She started taking care of us little by little. Kudos to her for trying to salvage our experience with the bread and even free ice cream. But there was just so much wrong. One thing was our drinks were empty visibly but we had to constantly remind X about refills, and he was not checking in on us otherwise. Instead of him anticipating our concern and explaining the hour long wait for food, we eventually asked what was taking so long and he checked only then. He said the kitchen was backed up. There were also discrepancies in our ordering that made him charge us for free substitutions, but I luckily looked over the receipt so he could fix it. The worst part of all of this was the food was not even hot, not good, I will stick with local restaurants when visiting Corpus going forward. My thinking was oh, I can trust a Landry’s spot- but I was wrong. I did see the manager much later in our experience come check on us. I wanted to say all of this to him then- but didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
