Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They could’ve communicated what was taking my order so long or gave a complimentary item for the amount of time. I hope they didn’t bump my order off and get credit for a sale time that wasn’t true. It was 3 in the morning, and she was still delivering top-tier customer service with a smile. She was amazingly funny, super friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable.. which is rare at that hour! Our food was completely correct, fresh, and exactly how we ordered it. Anyone who can give that level of service at 3 am deserves a raise and a promotion ASAP. I’ll honestly come back just to see her. Tara made our night and Whataburger is lucky to have her! I tried to get her to work with me and she politely declined saying she can’t go anywhere else and that “Whataburger is her family and home” Idk where else you could find someone else like that but yall better treat her right lol
