It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    One of the more inconsistent Whataburgers I have been to. Most recent visit they lost my order and it took 20 minutes to get 2 large fries.

    had to wait 15 minutes for my food, which isnt too long; however the fries are hard and inedible. You can tell they have been sitting there for an hour at least. contacted the manager and couldnt even get a bit of compensation. All I got from them was their reassurance that they'll have fresh fries next time.

    I have never heard of gravy with chicken strips its almost like a group of fine patrons colluded and agreed to hide this secret! It has been almost a month and I'm still in aww. I opened the cup, and said oh nice, a bucket of ranch, SIKEEEE! It's some legendary gravy! The chicken strips were the best I had, but to add gravy, is absolutely mind blowing. I could veg off these impeccable chicken strips + gravy for eternity. Oh, the price you ask, I'll tell you this, I went for about 4-5 days straight maybe 6, so it clearly wasn't breaking the bank. I highly HIGHLY recommend chicken strips w/ gravy, hit up the bait bucket get a few quarts of shrimp, maybe a 6 pk and watching the sunset as you catch a plethora of fish off red dot pier, and drown you tenders in that sweet lucious gravy.... We will be back 😀
