Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The place was super busy, but team leader Amanda made sure she greeted everyone as they came through the door, she moved the crowd through the orderline while giving great personal service. As always the food was served in a reasonable amount of time, in a very friendly manner. Breakfast on a bun with sausage is always delicious! If there's a line when you pull up, don't worry, they are pros at getting you great food quickly.
- DVdaniella veraFeb 10, 20264.0On 2/10/2026 at approximately 7pm my family and I walked in on the manager (female) speaking to staff in an unprofessional manner. The tone she used was demeaning and belittling. The atmosphere was tense and it was clear she makes staff feel uncomfortable by creating a hostile environment. Her tone changed when she realized our attention was turned to her as it was distracting while we ordered. Once we sat and more customers entered her demeanor changed and continued to make eye contact with me (clearly watching her behavior). Running a tight ship means more than creating a toxic work environment. Every one of those young employees were respectful, extremely kind and clearly hard working.These employees deserve a shout out for being dedicated to their job even while having poor leadership. Those kids deserve a leader that is going to teach them good work ethic and develop them for the BRIGHT future they have ahead of themselves. High five to yall and SMH for this manager to think this generation doesn’t have family and community that supports them. Thank so much for your attention to this matter. PERIOD
