    We used to come to this restaurant twice a year, but sadly this was our last time. First, the guy at the entrance told us we had to wait about 20 minutes, even though the restaurant was almost empty. After a while, he disappeared and a lady came to cover the entrance. She seated three parties that had just arrived without waiting. Then she disappeared and the boy came back. We asked why we had to wait, and he just said they didn’t have enough staff working. Then we ordered two king crab plates and discovered that even though the price is higher now, they only gave us half a crab each, when before it used to be one and a half crabs. Our plate used to include shrimp, sausages, sliced corn, boiled eggs, and the crab. Now it was just one whole corn (I’m guessing they don’t have the staff to slice it), no shrimp, and no sausage. The flavor is the same, but it’s not okay to change the portions so drastically. I understand that things are getting expensive everywhere, but this is just ridiculous. We came to Corpus just for this restaurant, but I guess it’s time to look for another city. We also ordered an expensive plate of coconut shrimp that was supposed to come with some sides, but we only got eight shrimp that looked and tasted just like the frozen ones from Costco. And they were served with a bunch of French fries that were not supposed to be part of this order. So they just replaced the sides without asking? The coleslaw was past its prime and tasted bad. We also ordered a kids’ menu that was supposed to come with a cup of mixed fruit, but instead they gave us mandarins in sugar water. The only good thing was our server. She was the nicest lady in the world.

    Stopped in for lunch to celebrate a family member’s birthday yesterday (03/15) we arrived and got checked in and waited for about an hour to be seated due to another family being seated in the larger table, once we were sat it went down hill the wait time was even longer we sat for about 4 hours waiting for drinks & food. We ordered 3 adult beverages from the bar and one kids freeze drink which had to be served at the bar that took almost an hour to receive! Our waiter was trying to be as helpful as she could but it was just over all a ridiculous experience. Our food took what felt like forever to come out and when it did I wish it never even came out. The shrimp was rubbery, corn was completely dried out and stiff, fries were horrible , chicken breast was tough and hard to cut into. Overall the food was absolutely horrible. My family was excited to stop here to celebrate a birthday and this place was an absolute let down. And not once did the manager come and properly talk with us after we had to ask 3 times for a manager we left not even knowing who the manager was. RIDICULOUS. SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO WHATABURGER ACROSS THE STREET. We will not be returning!

    The associates who check you in were not helpful at all seems like they’re only there for a paycheck. When arriving Friday night to the restaurant the lady who was supposed to check us in told us the wait time and we agreed to wait continued to to check other people in and ask for their names and phone numbers but did not ask for any of my information. I had to ask her how she was going to call me if she didn’t ask for my information 10 minutes later after realizing. She then asked for my information and signed us in almost 15 minutes later after checking in 5 other parties that arrived after me. We ended up leaving and made a reservation the next day for 7 and it had an option to put birthday as the occasion. Not once did anyone mention a birthday very disappointing after spending $221 on mine and my fiancés food and my table probably spend about $500 on food all together. I will never eat here again not worth the horrible service and not worth spending so much money on okay food the amount of food per seafood boil was not worth $45 a bag. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere there’s a Landry’s down the street I’ll be taking my business there instead.

    We had the pleasure of dining here, and I must commend our waitress, Melissa, for her outstanding service. Despite what appeared to be significant pressure from the kitchen, Melissa maintained a professional and positive attitude throughout our meal. She was attentive to our table's needs and ensured we were well taken care of, even with the kitchen experiencing difficulties. Her ability to handle stress and provide excellent service is truly commendable. Melissa is a gem and deserves to be recognized for her exceptional work!!!!

    When we arrive and were seated, we waited 15 minutes with no one coming to serve us. So we had to ask a waiter to serve us. When we put in our appetizer order, the waiter forgot to place the order with the cook. Our meals came out without the appetizer being served first. When we complained about the appetizer not being served before our meal, the waiter placed our appetizer order at that time. The appetizer didn't come till after we completed our meals. I was very dissatisfied with our service but the food was good at least.
