  Chelly was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, she brought such a warm and welcoming energy to the table. She was attentive without being overbearing, made sure our drinks stayed full, and checked in at just the right times. What really stood out was her positive attitude—she genuinely seemed to enjoy what she does, and it made the whole experience that much better. She gave great menu suggestions and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. If you’re dining here, definitely ask for Chelly—you won’t be disappointed!

  Went there this morning with my mom and the workers were very nice. Shelly the worker helped us alot and was very warm and kind. The food didnt take that long to come and once it was time to leave shelly gave us a nice goodbye. We took our food home and it was really good once we tried it. Definitely recommend!

  Such a jewel of a spot! My granddaughter turned me on to this place and I'll tell you the food was delicious.. the atmosphere was rustic and very tasteful. There's a video kiosk that shows the main chef demonstrating the way he makes his creations. Observe two cakes being made one was an Easter cake garnished with strawberries. Another one with a Dubai Cake it was so beautiful with sprinkles and pistachios on top. The waitress Shelly was very friendly. She has such a beautiful smile. Shelly took very good care of us!

  I spend $30 for breakfast/brunch at Chops and Eggs at 12:30pm today, no complaints.The temperature was so freezing in the restaurant that the hostess apologized in advance while walking me to my table. The coffee was barely warm, the country fried steak was overcooked and tasteless. No seasoning anywhere. Crust, meat, gravy all bland and flavorless. My “medium” fried eggs had runny whites around the yolks. The potatoes were prepared well and warm, but again, not seasoned. The portions are plenty for two people or two meals for me, but when food that should be savory is unacceptably bland, it doesn’t matter how oversized the meal is. Do better Chops and Eggs. I’ve tried you several times and leave with the same opinion. I decided to take the time to review you because you have such potential. I want to love your restaurant, want to support local. It’s getting difficult to continue hoping for a good meal.

  This place is the most mid place I’ve been to in Corpus Christi. The service was the worse part about the place. First water refill came after 1 hour and 45 minutes. No utensils no small plates. Waiter never checked on us but 2-3 times in over 2 hours of being there. We had to use water bottles we had at the gas station for our drink. The food is just okay. None of the food was bad it just was middle of the road. Everything is carb heavy. Music choice is very odd for the environment. Nothing special about it really. 6 of us ordered all sorts of different things and it was just underwhelming at best.
