    Their bakery and deli are #1! All fruit and vegetables are very fresh. Great selection of wines and beers. First time in store and everything was easy to locate.

    My spouse and I went grocery shopping at HEB in Copperas Cove today. We were at the #9 checkout before 6pm this evening. One young lady scanned our groceries while another young lady started bagging them. I was watching the items I was purchasing being scanned so that they’re not scanned more than once because it’s happened before. Then I noticed that my groceries were piling up in a big pile after they were scanned. The cashier started putting groceries in bags all kinds of crazy so I started bagging my own groceries because I realized that the young lady bagging our groceries was no longer there. She had disappeared. We spent $659 tonight at HEB and had to bag our own groceries. THATS INSANE! !! Another bagger , a male, came over to checkout 9 AFTER we were done checking out to bag the next persons groceries. REALLY!!!

    I’ve try not to complain about HEB or Chick-fil-A cause they are usually always just great. This time, no! We have a large party coming up - we ordered 50lbs of meat on Wednesday since this isn’t a product they keep on the main shelves. We ordered Wednesday for Saturday at 10am pickup. We wanted it trimmed to save some time. We showed up a couple minutes after 10am NOTHING was ready. They didn’t even pull our order. Needless to say we weren’t happy, why place an order and not get what you expected especially if you did everything they asked. The guy in the meat department was a complete jerk. I didn’t raise my voice, I expressed my concerns and he basically said well there is nothing we can do. On top of the overpricing because they weighed it with the box it was shipped with he wanted to charge even more for them to trim it what we had originally requested. I am extremely disappointed and ashamed that HEB meat department accepts this. Management wasn’t called but he knew we were out there with our order because when we came and said we were there for pick up he came out and went along with life.
