  Today I took my wife and kids to an early dinner for our anniversary. While the food was very tasteful we like to add that our waiter, Tyson, was a special addition to our day. The young man took special care to see that we were taken care of. We like the fact that he was just himself which made it easy for him to engage in quick conversation. I do hope that Landry’s takes care of such workers.

  Went to the Saltgrass steakhouse in Conroe, Tx on Friday April 17th. For background I have a rewards card (my wife and I go often). I had two friends in from Kentucky, it is their favorite place to go when in town. We ordered two prime ribs and a ribeye the total bill came to $152. I ordered my prime rib medium rare, it came out medium no big deal it was still good and it is tough to get it perfect. However I ordered a loaded baked potato with it, it was drowning in butter with a teaspoon of sour cream and three small pieces of chives. It had no cheese or bacon pieces on it, I asked the waiter (Leo) if this was a loaded baked potato, he smirked then grinned and told me yeah acting like it was a big joke. So I tipped him $6 told the hostess about my experience on the way out told her didn’t know if I would ever be back, don’t know if she cared one way or the other. Outback is right next door never been treated that poorly there.

  Our server for the evening was Lily and she did such a excellent job with being attentive and making sure that we got our food and drinks expeditiously

  I am SUPER SAD that Vaquero Tacos are not longer on the menu!!! 😭 PLEASE bring them back!! 🙏 However, I do adore the Flash Fried Green Beans so I had those & a salad with my chicken fried steak. We are Landry's Club & not sure if that affects service but it's always good & the manager always checks with us while we eat.

  My wife and I arrived and was greeted by a young man who really was not too personable. I am an amputee so there are some places that I cannot sit, he tried to place us in a booth near the bar that there was no way I could go with my prosthetic. We were then moved to the other side of the dining area and sat in a table that was starved by Shaela, she took such good care of my wife and I that I felt I had to thank her. Shaela made us feel welcome and we left with a great meal and wonderful date night. The date of our visit was Monday April 6 at approximately 645 pm. Please make sure that Shaela is shown appreciation for her incredible service, it is team members like her that will keep us coming back.
