Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Some of the reviews here are unfair and flat out insane! Come on!
I'm happy yall opened in our neighborhood. I came a month after opening day, place is always clean, smells fresh. Everyone was polite and courteous. Ordered a chicken tenddies w barbecue sauce, a double cheeseburger and washed all down with a sweet strawberry milkshake. The food was delicious, just like it was when I was in my teens . Why is everything here knocking on this place.?

Just had to take time out to give a review, last minute stop from taking a trip out of town, and stopped her to feed the kids. And needless to say their was an SUV broke down in the drive-tru and what amazed me was I got my order taken, then noticed all the employees went out to help this Lady out, even an employee went pulled her car up to try to jump the ladies car and praise God they helped this lady not because it was there job, but God put them together at the right place at the right time 🙌🙌🙌🙌💖💖all heroes doesn't wear capes some can wear aprons too! I’m not one to write reviews, especially for a fast food chain but this facility obviously needs some reevaluation. The Supervisor or Manager on duty was on drive thru, she asked the basic question of, “will you be using the app today?” My mother- who has never used the app but has it with over 5k points, asked before we started our order just simply, “I have never used it, could you explain how to?”(which I understand is extra work and a simple no would’ve sufficed) The woman on the speaker hesitated in giving any type of response at first and went into a spiel of how she can just scan it at the window to add more points and that was that.
As we finally get to ordering, we got to the end of our order and she asked what condiments we would like, my mother replied 3 picante, 3 spicy ketchup, and 1 gravy cup- simple, right? WRONG.. we get up to the window and pay, the teenager who’s working the window looks like he’d rather be anywhere else, and maybe in his mind he is somewhere else I don’t know.. Our food was handed to us (notice how I just said food?) with a quick “have a good night”- No drinks were given, my mother asks “is there sauce in the bag?” He replied with a fed up tone saying “they should be.” . As my mother is checking the bags to make sure we received everything she asked for he’s finally standing in the window trying to hand our drinks over. My mother finds no sauce in the bag and voices her frustration seeing as it was asked through the drivethru speaker, AND added onto the receipt. He walked away for about a minute and comes back with a small bag full of sauces- 1 picante, 2 spicy ketchups, 2 regular ketchups and FOUR things of salsa verde. My mother takes the sauce bag with a sigh and then goes to grab one of the drinks, the lid wasn’t fully sealed closed and during the pass off, sweet tea was spilt all into her lap, the worker had watched it happen, as my mother was trying to deal with the spill he was still standing in the window just spectating if you will, my mom made the comment to make sure the lid was on the other drink before she went to grab it.
No napkins were put in the bag so we asked for napkins to clean up the spill as the worker decided to close the window in the middle of my mother asking. I assume the manager heard the commotion and came to help with getting us napkins and then she went and closed the window right away with no other words
The customer service at this facility is absolutely embarrassing and with the way things are going regarding reviews I have a feeling it won’t make it much longer..
