  If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Zack was hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, personable, and genuinely warm without being overbearing. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made sure every detail of our experience was perfect. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, his recommendations were spot on, and he created such a welcoming atmosphere that it elevated the entire meal. It’s rare to find someone who clearly takes pride in what they do — and Zack truly does. Exceptional service like this deserves recognition. Thank you, Zack, for turning a great meal into an unforgettable experience. We’ll absolutely be back!

  Went here for a Valentines dinner with the hubby, the day after, and with our newborn- we got excellent customer service, with decent wait times on the food, and delicious meals! We both got different cuts of their steaks with baked and sweet potatoes ☺️ I will say- the seafood cheese appetizer was delicious, but a bit salty for me. And make sure to ask for your steaks a little under your preference- ours were cooked a little over but we forgot to ask for it under, as you really should with any restaurant. They can always cook it a little more, but it can't be uncooked lol It was still delicious though, and I do recommend the smothering (grilled onions and mushrooms).

  I have gone to many Saltgrass Restaurants over the years but need to say the one in Conroe Texas is exceptional. Every time we went, the Servers always seemed to get our complicated orders (we always change everything) right, and if not, went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. The food has always been amazing! In this last venture, our server Jeremiah, and the manager, Kristi, were fantastic, and exceeded our expectations in service and kindness. Kristi made us feel like family. When she found out that we always go to Saltgrass for our birthdays, anniversaries, and many other special occasions, we were extremely surprised when she placed a beautiful Cheesecake on our table and said it was on her, what an amazing gift, and very much appreciated. We will keep going back! Thank you Saltgrass team!!

  Service is nonexistent. Got there to an empty hostess stand and had to wait a few minutes before someone showed up to seat us. After being seated we waited over 10 minutes and no one came to check on us for anything so we just left. I'd understand if it was packed but it wasn't busy at all.

  We dined early. Party of 4. 2 of us had steak, 2 had chicken. Early is preferred because less busy, it's quiet. The couple joining us, likely visited before as they are from Conroe. My husband and me, our first visit at this location. Service excellent. Sorry. I didn't get name of our server. Food delicious. Everyone loved what they ordered. Food cooked very well. Food perfectly cooked. Server got us all fixed up. Thorough, questions. How to cook our steaks, dressings, etc. I couldn't finish my meal, but I packed up every crumb. We had dessert. 3 choices. Tough to decide but we went with carrot cake. Restaurant very nice. Highly recommend.
