  My waiter was great and the food was great. With that being said the young man with dark hair that was working as the door greeter needs to go. I know that I am not a small person. I come in at just about 300lbs. When we entered the restaurant there wasn't a hello, hi or welcome in. There was only "what can I do for you?" As if there are multiple reasons why and man and wife would enter a restaurant. Then he proceeded to take us to a booth. Again I am a large person. When I didn't fit in the booth the Young Man could have offered a different table. Instead he chose laughter. It was Rude, DISRESPECTFUL, and borderline body shaming. Why would you even try and put a large person into a booth? No matter how good the Waiter was or how great the food was, I will never step foot back in there as long as that young man is still employed there. The longer he is employed the more Saltgrass shows that they don't care about how their customers are treated by their employees.

  Laila the server was awesome, very attentive and kept our drinks full. It was a little busy and she still made time to check on us several times times. Also she was very approachable.

  Visited Saltgrass Steakhouse in Conroe for a take-out meal. Isabelle met me and gave me some time to look over the menu, pretty extensive. Decided on their Grilled Chicken Dinner with mashed potatoes and the Chicken Tortilla soup. Everything was delicious…the chicken moist and tender with flavorful grill marks, potatoes great, and the soup was very tasty. Overall great food and the service from Isabelle was excellent.

  We went to Saltgrass to celebrate my son’s birthday. Our waitress was wonderful, but we had an issue with the Brittney and Kristi. We waited over an hour and a half to be seated for a party of eight, even though the waitlist showed we were “next” for more than 40 minutes before we were finally seated. During that time, at least ten smaller parties (2–4 people) who arrived after us were seated first. After seeing this, my husband politely asked if we could be seated at two separate tables to help move things along. Brittney told us the table was almost ready, but we continued to wait much longer. When my husband later asked Kristi the same question, she responded, “Leave my girls alone,” which was very unprofessional and unnecessary. Throughout the situation, the staff appeared to be laughing and looking our way, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. We’ve been loyal customers of Saltgrass for years and have always had great experiences, but this visit was extremely disappointing. We hope management addresses this so other guests aren’t treated the same way.

  I remember having a certain cocktail that I used to get all the time.. When me and my sister went it was no longer on the drink menu.. I asked the waiter and he went and asked the bartender, and they made us the Maverick Margaritas…This is such a good drink
