I drove 30 minutes and called ahead to make sure the restaurant can accommodate me for a solo birthday dinner. I ordered the redfish pontchartrain, and food was good except I did find some fish scales on my fish. After the manager spoke to me, my check was immediately brought to me. When I asked if they did anything for birthdays, the waitress informed me that the restaurant was closed and I could pick up my birthday dessert the next day… I was under the impression I’d have a complete service, and experience- I would’ve happily taken my dessert to-go. The service at the end was rushed and awkward. Maybe I didn’t spend enough money to receive a decent experience on my birthday.
