We tried Coop’s for the first time about a week ago after driving past it so many times. We’re getting ready to move states, and I’m soooo disappointed we won’t have them close anymore. The food is delicious and the service is GREAT!

- SMSharon MontgomeryOct 25, 20255.0I pass this place often and finally decided to stop in and I'm so glad I did. We love Dave's Hot chicken and wanted to try Coop's to see which is better. The answer? Coop's. From the second we walked in the door we were greeted warmly and the young man working the counter answered any questions we had. There are more options to try here than at DHC. I got the Main Chick, which was their amazing fries covered in queso and Coop's sauce topped with their juicy, flavorful chicken. My daughter got the Basic Chicks sandwich that had 2 huge tenders on it. They offer their chicken at heat levels from plain (no heat) up to Hella Hot. I got mild which was the perfect amount of seasoning without much heat and my daughter got the extra hot, which she says is the perfect amount of heat for her. The portions were generous and we had leftovers to take home. They also have great lemonade in plain, strawberry and blueberry. Overall, I highly recommend this locally owned restaurant.
