I went inside to grocery shop for a DoorDash order and when I got done with the order I went to self checkout. At some grocery stores dashers are unable to proceed to self check out. Sarah came and assisted me and I asked her about my QR code she says that I only have to scan one item and then scan my QR code. When she did that the order automatically went through so the QR code no longer works and I still have to scan the rest of the customer’s order. So I was in the for hours reaching out to DoorDash and moral of the story I wasted my time shopping for the DoorDash order. I do not recommend Sarah to anybody

I went to this store to grab a few ingredients for dinner. I clipped the coupon for chicken 1.75 a lb. When I checked out, the self check out station did not honor my coupon. There was no attendant, just a bunch of employees going in and out of break room, so after waiting a while and getting somebodys attention. Ms. GLENDENA, proceeded to go through my phone and try to find the coupon. I dont understand why not just honor the ad price instead of wasting my time. After she asked me to restart my phone I said just give me a refund. What kind of store doesn't honor the weekly ad and make the customer have to go somewhere else to get what they need?? So unprofessional and rude. She acted like it was about to come out of her paycheck. These employees need better training and thats why HEB is about to put them out of business. I won't be back.

The issue was not with the grocery store part, but it was with the Starbucks dept.On Veterans Day my husband and I went to Tom Thumb to pick a few items. My husband wanted to get the free cup of coffee they were offering the veterans. However, the manager named Ben, was the rudest. When my husband walked up 'Ben' was sitting down( maybe he felt we disturb him), and got up with the worse attitude. Ben says in a depressive voice "how can I help you?" My said "yes, do you have the free coffee for veterans?" Ben replied "it's just coffee sir." We had no idea why he said that. Anyway, then he says "do you want cream?" In just the most dragging depressive voice it darn near would my you feel sad. After my husband said "yes, please!" Ben goes and sit down and the young guy to get it. He didn't even attempt to just pour the coffee....nooo. He tells him to do and went back and sat down "Amazing". Now the young man didn't quit know how to ring it up as free, so he ask 'Ben' for help. I swear you would've thought that he was asked (Ben) him to give up a kidney. He looks so annoyed that we felt like we were bothering him. The bad part is he's the manager. Atleast, that what is name tag said. We will NEVER stop at that Starbucks again. I MEAN NEVER! My husband and I had a great Veterans Day with greetings and thank you's it was pleasant. Then to have this happen at the end of it was not cool. We never seen this tap of behavior in a regular Starbucks. He really made my husband feel like he was bothering him.

I have been coming to this store when it was Albertsons since last 25 years plus. I had bad experiemce on nov 4. 2025. I went to the store 30 minutes before closing time. As I was checking out near self checkout counters, I looked at time it was still 20 minutes before closing, the white cashier lady passed a remark to the man who brings in the cart(he wa standing behind the counter nearby her and staring at me!,I thought that was odd) that why was I coming to store as I have full day when store was open! I will come when I can spare time. This is none of her business. She was makimg unfriendly face. I thought that was very disrespectful. It made me anxious to get out quickly. In that anxiety induced by her behavior, I pulled the receipt with stronger force which opened the plastic dispenser. She yelled at me accusing me of breaking it! It was not broken,. It was just open. I felt she was trying to humiliate me. I imformed her I had been coming to the store since last 25 years. I heard her saying 'you are not coming to this store for 25 years'! I have never seen this lady before at this location. She was very unpleasant, disrespectful and humiliating. I have found rest of the employees to be nice and customer friendly but not this person, definitely.

The quality of grocery pick up has sharply declined. Rotten tomatoes aren’t exactly what I planned for dinner. If I have to get out and check everything before I leave, I might as well come in the store. Not that the quality inside the store has been better recently. Last time with my pickup it was broken eggs... This afternoon I ordered for a 5pm pick up and it was shopped quickly, but then suddenly come 5pm it was “delayed” only for me to drive all the way home to be notified it was indeed ready. I drive back to the store and collect the order, and get home with produce I can’t use and a need to make entirely new dinner plans.
