- TLTheresa LindJan 1, 20263.0This location is not very good. Being longtime friends with the President /owner of Outbacks in the Mississippi /Ten area….this one in TX does not measure up. One of the fillets was on the tough side and both were over cooked for medium. How do you run out of baked potatoes at a steakhouse at 4:30 pm? Okay so you are out of potatoes….they did not even come to tell us….but instead just sub for mashed….if they had asked they would have known I would not eat mashed with peeling in them….should have given customer the choice. So I had my steak while waiting on a potato. Next….we asked for the wonderful garlic butter. They did not bother to put it on the hot steak in the kitchen but instead brought out the steaks….then later brought out a lump of cold butter for us to put on the meat. It somewhat melted….but for sure not what we expected . We both left there says we would not return to this particular Outback and would just wait on dinning with them when we are in MS since they seem more on top of things with how it is to be done. The server was very nice and did her job very well. The rest left much to be improved!

Manny greeted us with a warm welcome, Christian took great care of us with friendly, attentive service, and Brendan, the manager, checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Big shoutout to Jordan, the kitchen manager—food came out cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Great food, great atmosphere, and an incredible team. Definitely coming back!
