For example- greet the customer with at least a “hi” at the check out and “thank you” when handing the receipt. It has been my experience several times, that the cashiers lack basic courtesy and manners. Today Nate H was my cashier and he said nothing except “here you go” when he gave me the receipt. I said “thanks have a nice day too”

I was told the bottles couldn't be accepted because one wasn't 'washed out properly' (it had a minimal amount of residue). While I understand stores have sanitation policies, the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. The staff members acted dismissively while sliding the bottles back to me, making the entire interaction feel mocking and disrespectful. As a loyal H-E-B shopper, I expected to be treated with basic courtesy. Instead, I was made to feel unwelcome over a routine transaction. I hope this feedback helps ensure that other customers are treated with more dignity in the future.
