  Being from the UK I don’t have the luxury of easy access to authentic Mexican restaurants. I’ve visited Mexico City for a few days with work and enjoyed the cuisine and New York a couple of times and always visited Los Tacos No.1. For me Los Tacos No.1 was the best I’d ever get. Then I came here with a colleague from Cleburne. Completely and utterly blown away. The chips and salsa, especially the green one, left me shaking my head as to good they were. Ordered Taco al pastor, every bite an absolute dream, including the rice and beans. The suggestion of margaritas came after we’d paid, but next time…..there’ll definitely be a next time. Didn’t catch the ladies name who served us, but she was great. So friendly, so helpful.

  Literally the best enchiladas I’ve ever had in my life. I had the brisket enchilada and I had to pause every bite to appreciate the juicy goodness wrapped in the most tender house made tortilla I’ve ever had. Also the house margarita (made by the same person) was so yummy (and strong). 1000/10 recommend.

  Delicious flavors, muy sabroso! I loved all four of the different salsas- the tomatillo salsa and creamy jalapeno salsa were my favorites. Brisket tacos, succulent with tart escabeche. Pollo con mole was a beautifully tender dish with creamy charro beans. Highly recommend.

  We just moved to Joshua about eight months ago and this is our first time here at this La Chima Mexican restaurant and I’ll tell you what we will definitely be back! . The food was so good from the chips and salsa to the enchilada plate and service and very friendly !!!!

  Boyfriend and I showed up at 7:10 ignored by everyone at the front (It wasn’t busy) finally was sat by someone at 7:20… strike one… We ordered a Chimichanga and Chicken Enchiladas it took until 8 to get those out to us and our food was COLD strike two… Boyfriend asked for ground beef chimichanga and was given a brisket one I asked for an extra Chicken Enchilada and was given the standard serving strike three. No one asked how our food was if we needed anything nothing we weren’t acknowledged anymore. Our meal was comped, but that still doesn’t justify terrible service. We will stick to the big city restaurants from now on. I saw another review lower below about it being the color of skin and I believe it. My boyfriend is a black man.
