The wife and I are known for our patience with new wait staff, sales staff, etc. Wait staff at most of the establishments we our regular customers at are even trained by using the wife and I because of that patience. And we do not mind being part of their training aid.
But, is it supposed to be normal now for customers to explain the job to employees? I just left the drive thru and arrived home and this is what I discovered.
The drinks were incorrect. Condiments barely existed, Asked for no salt, and there was salt.
One drink that was not supposed to have ice, had ice.
Asked for light mustard on a burger, it dripped off burger.
Now there are other things as well. But the young lady working the drive thru, obviously been working there a few days, could not get anything right hardly. And when I was calmly explaining what the problem was and shown her what was printed on the ticket she laughed. Not a nervous laugh either. Many of the employees at this particular restaurant are great. Sometimes little mistakes happen nd that is understandable. But it's just a very small number that continue to make the same mistakes.
This is not supposed to be Dairy Queen, it's Sonic.

It depends on who's working, really, on the experience you will receive! My most recent order was missing an item; my drink was not completely full (that I pay $5 for). But what gets me the most is that the carhops wear shorts that quite literally show their butt cheeks!!!! 😳 This isn't Hooters. What happened to uniform dress codes?!?!

It is very frustrating when I spend the first 2 minutes of my order explaining how I would like my burrito. I correct it when I see it wrong on the screen. I still get the burrito not how I want. 1 of my drinks were wrong. For sitting there as long as I did and how much I explained its very frustrating to not get what I wanted (it the one night I got to eat out, dont mean to sound spoiled)
