We wasted 15 min in the drive thru lane, before realizing it was extremely slow due to the intercom speaker being broken. So we went inside to order. It still took 45 min to get our food. Wasted a total of 1 hour. They could have at least put a sign out front, mentioning the broken intercom, so that cars don't waste their time.

Stopped by here every time we come to Texas. Same story every time, wait over an hour and end up leaving. Normally they aren't swamped but this time I sat in the drive thru for an hour and there were 2 cars in front of me. Nobody moved from the time I arrived to the time I left

My wife and I started going to D.Q. for their tacos a while back, since Taco Bell only wants to put a sliver of meat in their's anymore. We've ate them at D.Q. in Plainview, Floydada, and even at this Childress location a time or two. Always were satisfied. On the way to Childress this afternoon, I asked the wife, " Do we want to see if Taco Bell has gotten any better or just go to D.Q.? She said, D.Q. since they are always better. Went in and noticed right off the bat, a woman around the age of 30 or so sitting in a booth with a dog sitting next to her. There was no service dog vest on it and judging by her appearance, she was a traveler probably from California or westcoast somewhere to say the least. Nonetheless, management should've told her that's illegal. However the help at the counter was very nice. I even told the young lady about Taco Bell and how we'd tossed it around about giving them another chance but said, naw, we've always been satisfied at Dairy Queen. We get our tacos and they were short. We were thoroughly disappointed. I removed the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese only to find enough ground beef about the size of a #2 pencil. Took it to the front and showed it to the nice lady and said, "so, this is what we get now?". She replied basically that it's scooped out in accordance. I told her that I was sorry that this happened and that we "couldn't" eat here anymore. The look on her face was genuinely one of concern. We finished our kittie meal and told them fairwell.
