Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I came in the the door around 11:43 if I tell you this shift manager or whatever kind of manager (the black guy with the braids) had such a attitude look me dead in my eyeballs and didn’t say hey hello or nothing…
Christopher B took our order
He was a level headed guy no attitude but had on no gloves he is on the cash register taking money swiping cards touching the screen of the register and also dropping fries picking up the scooper to put the fries in a fry carton and we all know how fries don’t fall in the bag so neat they fall sometimes on the person hands whose bagging them (Mr no gloves).. it just wasn’t sanitary nor was the environment comfortable that manager made you feel bad for coming in and he was on the clock .

Every time I come here at night there are issues with my order, I feel as if the night shift is careless and rude. I placed an order for a simple large onion right, I used to work at another whataburger so I know it takes like 3 minutes to cook and they usually make them fresh everytime, but I had cold onion rings that were squishy and grainy, tbey also mine as well charged me for a medium because there were barely any in the box.The night manager who's a black guy has such bad customer service I wouldnt even try to call and complain because the look on his angry face shows how much he doesn't care, at all. They need people working the night shift who actually care about satisfying the customer, especially regarding something so minor.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I waited in the drive through lane for Diana to take my order for about 10 minutes. The afternoon crew full of teenagers is very unprofessional. As Diana was taking my order, she was constantly turning the microphone off and laughing. As I pulled up the window, I asked her to repeat my order asking if all my items were there and she said yes. As I got the receipt I noticed she did not put a burger I had asked if and asked multiple times if it was on the ticket. They asked me to pull forward and wait 4 minutes and I ended up having to get off and ask them to charge me for the extra burger I asked for that she did not put on my ticket. The cook in the back was also unprofessional talking very rudely to the other workers. The older gentleman at the front was very polite and the Hispanic guy was also very nice, making my order right. The guy in the back and the ladies at the drive through need some professional training as my usual 10 minute wait turned to 40 minutes. The employees at the window are constantly walking in and out of the restaurant which makes sense as to why it took them so long to take my drive through order.

Brandy was the only person actually working it seems. It’s 6 plus people on the floor and nobody was taking the front counter order. It was a couple people in front of me and it was no telling how long they was waiting became I was waiting at the minimum 15 minutes. They left. Brandy was running back and forth. It was someone else that was suppose to be taking orders because Brandy told them they were waiting a while. The girl logged in and walked away. Brandy had to take my order plus do 10 other things.
