Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers reported long wait times at the drive-thru, with some experiencing delays of over 20 minutes.

They kept forgetting parts of our orders, but in the end we gave up and had extra food and lacking some. Oh well. We could tell they had at least 2 new employees in training and it was New Years Day.

They always seem to have the freshest fries and burgers when I come to this location. The crew is fast and friendly. They even didn't make a big deal about needing to add more items to my order after I had already pulled away from the speaker. I drive out of my way for this guilty pleasure.

Went thru the drive thru. It took them 4 minutes to come to the speaker (two cars already at the window). I ordered biscuits and gravy, four pieces of crisp bacon. Once I got to the window it took another five minutes to get my order. There was no salt and pepper like I asked for, no napkins, no utensils. The gravy was like water and warm, not hot. The bacon looked like they wadded it up and threw it in the microwave. I am not sure how they expect you to eat biscuits and gravy without utensils. I do not think I would come to this location again. It was pretty bad.
