This experience confirmed that I need to start trusting my first instinct more.
I stopped by to grab a veggie-only kid’s meal while I was in the area. I walked in and saw only three people in line, which should’ve been my first red flag. After standing there for nearly ten minutes without moving (I was reading my book), I realized nothing was being handled efficiently.
When I was finally able to order, I noticed there were 356890521 employees on shift, yet barely anyone was actually working the line.
Additionally, the counters were FILTHY, food options were low or almost empty, and nothing appeared to be restocked, but should have been for the after-work rush. By this point, I had already been there almost 20 minutes, and the line behind me was growing.
I FINALLY ordered my usual kid’s meal and asked for a side of guacamole (I just ordered that same meal last week at this location without any issue).
For years, at multiple locations (including this one) managers...MANAGERS...have told me guacamole is included with the kid’s meal for veggie meals, so why do I know that as a customer, yet your staff...never mind.
Moving along, one employee said he was going to ask a manager and never came back because he was too busy goofing off in the back. The cashier eventually left to ask, which resulted in three employees returning to debate it in front of me. By now my total jumped from $6.17 to $9-something to $12-something....for a kid's meal?!!
I have never done this before, but I'm tired of today's society's version of customer service, so I left that food sitting right on that nasty counter and simply walked out because I’m not dealing with this level of disorganization in 2026.
It's disheartening to see and hear just how horrible a lot of Chipotle locations are nowadays (for so many reasons) because Chipotle used to be so freaking good and affordable!! Now it's filth, piss poor customer service/bad attitudes, and kid's portions for overpriced adult meals, hence me ordering an overpriced kid's meal.
Please do yourself a favor and don’t respond asking me to reach out for free food because I don’t want it; I wanted my kids meal earlier.
Based on the reviews, at this point, this location and the one on Broad Street in Mansfield both need to shut down PERMANENTLY because you all clearly do not care about cleaniness, using common sense, customers, training employees, or professionalism. I will not be back; no matter how hungry I am.
