You see, I'd been ill at Parkland, got home, and placed an online pickup order January the 22nd with groceries, dairy, meat, fruit and more - over $100 order - to be picked up on January the 23rd. The order went through, showed nothing out of stock, I paid for it, and received confirmation that my order was received, would be fulfilled and ready 7-8 pm, and even noted, if I needed anything else I could still add items. I thought nothing more about it.3pm, messaged "order processed soon". 4:02pm "Great news. We're starting to shop your order". Unbelievably, on the day of pickup, after 5pm, I began to receive text notifications - TEN (10) - that products I'd ordered the night before and PAID for were "UNAVAILABLE"! What on Earth?! I finished my treatment at Parkland's CV Roman location and headed to Albertsons. Sore and tired, I went in and "found" a bag of the 80/20 ground beef patties and bag of Tyson chicken wings noted "unavailable". I then headed to pick up what was "available" of my "pick up" order. The two young girls - BF & BF- were incredibly friendly and apologetic about my missing order items; but, as I gathered my items to take out myself, I noted a basket filled with products (some that I ordered) and was told that those products were being held for an associate onsite. Uhhhh.. really? I asked the self checkout lead for a manager, was told she was on register 4, and I waited 10 minutes to speak with her; but, was unable to, due to the never ending line of customers. Albertsons, I'd trusted and depended on you and spent $3000+ with you last year, and now, when I needed you the most, you completely (and nonchalantly) let me down.
