Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Even when the food is ready it seems to take them a while to actually give it to you. I don’t even risk ordering for curbside pickup because on multiple occasions I’ve had to actually go in and check to find my food just sitting there for who knows how long. This could maybe be fine if the food was good but it seems on the lower end of Whataburger quality. Today I had to wait extra long for my order and my fries were not only old, both my orders of large fries were less than half filled. What is the point of paying for a large fry if I’m going to be given a small fry portion? Only reason I go to this one ever is because it is the most convenient one near me. Truly wish it would come under new ownership or management to get someone on there that could actually run and maintain a proper Whataburger.
