Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Well… when in Texas, you’ve gotta hit up Whataburger 🤠🍔
I went with the Monterey Melt — and man, that Monterey Jack cheese sauce had a little kick to it 🔥. Super melty, a little spicy, and flat-out tasty. Yum yum.
Patti rolled with the bacon avocado burger, no bun, keeping it smart — and it was still legit 👏🥑🥓
Fries? Okay… I see what they’re doing. They’re making a run at McDonald’s. Respect the effort. But I’m still team McDonald’s fries all day 🍟😂
Bonus points for the spicy ketchup though. That stuff? Dangerous. I could’ve dipped everything in it.
Texas stop = success.

This wataburger has disappointed me for a long time but its convenient, the last handful of times that I have been here though there is a boy working, his name is Reese and he is the most respectful attentive fast food employee I have probably ever met, ive interacted with him multiple times and every time regardless of the flow of customers or how stressed out these guys are at a specific moment he is still kind, clear and focused, this guy deserves more recognition than I know that he will get working here especially after hearing another customer giving him trouble because a sauce was forgotten, he immediately got the sauce they were missing and even after the other customer yelled at him and gave him a bunch of BS he turned to me like it hadn't even happened same upbeat attitude and got my order taken care of like that interaction hadn't affected him at all, 10/10 service 10/10 attitude from this guy.
