First let me say that I’ve been going to Babes since they opened the restaurant as I used to work at a company in Farmers Branch. Once the Frisco store opened that has been my go to. This particular meal was disappointing and I was so excited to take my co workers there to eat. Lunch took an exceptionally long time to get to the table. I had the smoked chicken, my co workers had the Fried Chicken fingers and the chicken fried steak. My smoked chicken was cold to the center like it had been pre cooked and refrigerated. It was not even warm. Very disappointing. The service was slow and our food was terrible. I have to say after being a customer for 20 years I’ve never experienced this before. But I’ll definitely be staying away from that location. The Frisco store has never disappointed. It’s been a week sence we ate there and I struggled with the choice of writing this review as I used to frequent the Carrollton store so I only felt obligated to write this and hopefully the management reads this and corrects the quality and service that has made babes a great place to eat.

Office favorite for team lunch!
Everything is absolutely delicious! All sides the are amazing! Well besides the salad, which is just lettuce.
The biscuits are cooked to perfection!
The fan favs are the catfish, chicken fried steak, and chicken fingers.
The phone goes live 10am to start taking orders for pickup! The pickup slots fill on quick so plan accordingly.
Parking can be a nightmare.

Epilepsy warning they have there Christmas decorations up it's a rolling sequence of blinking lights my Virtigo kicked in but it's on garland on the ceiling so you can look elseware.
Food ok and lacking. Their salad was just lettuce is a sweet vinegar dressing, their sides sweet cream corn, the same oil smoked green bean skin as alot of places, creamed mash potatoes was just ok. The best side was the biscuits you have to ask for more if you like any of there sides. They give you enough for about a Table spoon per person.
Main course I had the Smoked Chicken only non-fried option it was decent but my last piece had a ton of bone fragments that distracted me enough not to enjoy the taste. The people at the other tables like the place. I was not a fan of the sides were I probably won't go back but I have to watch my sugar intake and get defensive once I tasted something sweet and the salad was definitely sweet.

Food was delicious and plentiful. I absolutely loved the green beans dish. The server was wonderful. It was our first time visiting but surly not our last. Normally I would have taken a photo but, my stomach was screaming " Eat Eat...lol"!

Family loves to eat here! I’m a vegetarian & I even leave full. Helpful hint to any vegetarians out there, let them know you’re vegetarian and they’ll just charge you for a “veggie plate”. It’s cheaper and that way you’re not paying for something you don’t eat!
