I mean, it’s sonic so the menu is what it is. Which is great. Could be a little quicker when it comes to simple drink orders through the app.

I’ve been there like 4 or 5 times and it was all good until the last two times I went; where I would order something specifically advertised and the person taking my order would ring up their own concoction and then that’s what was given to me. And when I corrected them about it each time, I specified - no, I wanted ‘said drink’ they would say thats what the drink is, and then repeated to me that I was wrong. So I responded to them, no, I asked for this and you gave me ‘said drink they gave me’ which is not only on the receipt but it’s visible in my hands that this is not it. And both times they tried to justify to me that the drink that I ordered was correct it’s just ‘the way they ring it up’ they both told me. I’ve literally been alive for a decent time now and it’s not my first time ever speaking and ordering something and they were talking to me like I was Unaware of what I was saying and like I was incorrect about what I was saying. I couldn’t figure out which it was that they thought because every time I corrected them about what I ordered, they only responded to what I said; they didn’t have a one single thing they were trying to tell me. They were treating me like I was arguing with them because I corrected them on refusing me service without just refusing me service. They purposely messed up my orders and smiled at me with their eyes wide open as if I was causing a problem by placing an order; and like I was struggling with knowing what I wanted. I even pulled up the recipe one of the times and showed them that they were lying to me and he said that I was STILL wrong and said “oh, so you just want me to add ‘said ingredient’ to it?” I said “no?! I want this whole drink. Im not telling you how to make it!” (Basically is what I said.) and he THEN said okay, well you should order it on the app then because the prices are different. I said this hasn’t been about money at all, it’s about the fact that this is the second time Ive come here that someone has tried to correct me about something that THEY were incorrect about and now youre telling me to order online the drink that supposedly they didn’t have.
The second time I can kinda understand the confusion because the drink had a special “made with ‘candy’” in the title and I didn’t say that part of the order; but, even whenever I tried to correct myself because they were so quick to take my order and get off the mic, they treated me like I was a menace for not ordering correctly by telling me why it’s rung up like that. So anyway! I gave the drink back because I was not getting the memo at all; and then I tried to leave but really wanted a drink so I went back and didnt want to talk with them and tried to order online when it was ‘not currently available’ for that store. And then I left and 15 minutes later it was available online again.
The first time they put my drink order in as a strawberry slush, add lime when I asked for a strawberry limeade slush. I was dealing with it until I tasted it and it wasn’t a strawberry limeade slush. So thats when I was like okay idk what’s wrong but something’s wrong; and she was just telling me i was lying and incorrect until someone overheard and said they’d fix it for it me.
The second time I tried to order the special shake which was (embarrassingly) a chocolate peanut butter shake (made with real Reese’s) and they brought a chocolate shake add peanut butter (or Vice versa) and I said no way because I tried to order the advertised drink and showed him but he told me that that’s how they make it and I was like completely fine with getting the wrong order if I said it incorrectly but I didn’t. They tried to justify the pricing to me and I was saying it wasn’t that, it’s that thats not what I ordered. I even showed them the recipe and he literally detained me like an officer saying “I can take this to the back and see what’s going on but I need the drink” because I hadn’t paid for it. So I was like okay???? Im not trying to rob the sonic for a shake i didnt even want in the first place. And he came back saying do it online
Went to Sonic tonight because I was too tired to cook after working all day and then packing for a move. This was our second night in a row. The first night was fine, went through the drive thru, the employees that helped were nice, and had all our food when we got home. The second night (tonight) we decided to eat there so we could eat the food fresh. We ordered $50 worth. When I noticed we were missing a burger, I notified the cashier. The next thing I know this manager is walking out to my car very aggressively and basically stood there and told me I was lying. I've never had management be so unprofessional in my life and I'm in my 50's. Unfortunately we will never go back to that Sonic. I feel sorry for his employees because if he was that rude to a customer, I can't imagine how he must treat them. Bad job Victor. You're a horrible manager!
