Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
We ordered curbside. It said order would be ready in 16 minutes waited 30 minutes before having to go in for our food! And it still took over five minutes to get food. Claimed they was looking for a lid for one of our cups. As if that was the hold up for everything.Got the lid and then still had to wait for my food Absolutely unacceptable! If I spend over 50 dollars for mid burgers I expect to at least get my food on time.
Edit: and was missing a large fry! And the fries was cold and nasty! Burgers were mid as expected so I won't count that against them I guess!

I place a mobile order and the confirmation said it would be ready at 8:47. It’s 9:20 and I’m still standing here waiting for my food. They finally tell me after asking twice that they “messed up my order”. This is the absolute worst Whataburger that I have ever visited. The young girl at the cash register with hickeys all over her neck screams that management really don’t give 2 Fs about anything. Avoid this place at all costs. A young man Jason was the lone shining star in this dumpster fire.
