Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Today 11/04/25 @9ish pm was the 1st time in a long time I was impressed with this store. As I walk in and walk towards the register (Johnathan) was very polite and very welcoming. Co firmed my order with a smile. Then went over to get my drinks and accidentally spilled some on the floor so I began cleaning it up and a another gentleman (Christian) nicely rushed to tell me not to worry about it that he would pick it up. I insisted to pick up my own mess. He then took out or order asked if we needed anything made sure we were satisfied. As I ate my meal I also noticed an upset customer come in and a manager came out (Jaine) She seemed to be so calm although customer was raising her voice and angry. I was very impressed how she handle the angry customer and corrected the issue. She later then walked around asking if everyone was okay and got to ours also very kind and professional. Seems to me this a good team going on, hadn't seen a good team here in a while. 10/10 dinner hours.

I placed an online order and it said it will be ready by 3:34-3:37. I add curbside number at 3:34 and then watched every drive-thru car order and leave. An employee was charging and taking orders to lane B and another staff member went to clean the menu so staff was outside. 3:46 comes around and somebody finally came out to my truck to check-in with me. She goes back then comes back with nothing, then asks to see my reciept. I finally get my food which was one meal at 3:55. I then got to work late and ate on the run after planning enough time to get there and eat before getting to work. After all that the only thing I got was a sorry and employee walked away.

Burgers and chicken are good especially if you have never tried it its a must try spot and you can add many sides like jalapeños bacon cheese aguacato etc etc etc
