called to tell me they didn’t have meatballs for sandwich, telling me to cancel the order myself knowing i can’t do that. came in store let them know i didn’t want it and lady on duty (10/16/25 @ 9:33pm) starting arguing asking “why don’t i want it,” i love subway but what a horrible experience.

One of the worst unkept subways I’ve been to in Brownsville. Chairs out of place I had to walk around them to get to the ordering counter, not one single table was clean to sit down and enjoy a quick meal. They didn’t have the bread I wanted, no big deal. Another gentleman had to leave because they didn’t have neither of the meats he was asking for. Their chip rack was depleted. To make matters worse, I pressed my cup against the ice lever, NOTHING. I asked in disbelief if they had ice, the workers made a face as if they had seen a ghost. One of the workers goes to the back to ask if they had ice, he comes back and tells the other worker in a broken sentence that there’s no ice then they just look at me and say nothing and I had to take a WILD guess that sure enough there’s no ice at subway! Clearly whatever manager(s) are “managing” this location do not care about their job or the public.

Bad service. Manager is useless. She was in front us and the girl making the sandwich was being rude for no reason. Sassy remarks and overall a bad place.
