Summary of the Incident During my visit to the restaurant, the customer service was excellent and the staff were polite. However, the food I received was not in acceptable condition for consumption. The chicken had a strange and unusual smell. The food appeared spoiled or mishandled. For safety reasons, I decided not to eat the meal. I request that the restaurant review food handling procedures, particularly for the shift on duty at that time. --- 2. Public Health Concerns Food served in this condition may violate the following safety standards: Texas Food Establishment Rules (TFER) Texas Health & Safety Code § 431 – Adulterated Food Company policies requiring safe and sanitary food preparation. I am submitting this report to ensure the issue is addressed and prevented in the future. --- 3. Requested Action Please investigate the food handling practices from the shift on duty. I request either: a replacement of the meal, or a refund, or written confirmation that the issue has been reviewed.
