  Ordered a one meat plate with fatty brisket, with mac & cheese and peach cobbler & a regular lemonade. The peach cobbler was surprisingly the best thing out of the whole meal, the brisket was sure fatty, juicy and flavorless. The mac & cheese was almost a noodle cheese soup, not good at all. The barbecue sauce was questionable idk abt that one. The lemonade was good actually, but you can’t really mess up lemonade. The brisket beans lacked the most important part, the brisket. Overall 3.5/10, brisket has potential byos (bring your own seasoning). The might need a 3rd worker in there, Chase seems really stressed, he couldn’t get simple drink orders right when there’s not that many options. This meal costed me a cool 17.05 and i’m highly disappointed, they took one meat plate to the next level

  We travel all over Texas 8 months out of the year from January-September. We try barbecue from TX Monthly’s Top rated barbecues. We recently ate at Black’s and they had NOTHING on HEB’s Bbq and sides. Texas monthly needs to drop in at HEB in Brenham. They will be pleasantly surprised.
