Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I visited this location on 11/16 and she welcomed me into the store and promptly took my order. She even assisted my daughter in choosing what she wanted to eat, which I loved bc she got my daughter to speak. My daughter is a very shy person but Wendy was able to get her to speak. Thanks Whataburger for such an amazing experience and having an amazing employee like Wendy!!

The manager is always sweet and smiling and in tune with her surroundings. Very detail oriented. I watched her serve two bus and a group of Boy Scouts and never lost her cool

The manager’s name was Amy and she was making sure everything was running smoothly. The kindness I witnessed should be an example for how all managers at any establishment should treat employees. it is obvious why she has earned manager title.
